Morning departure from Dubrovnik. On our way to Tivat, we will visit the town of Perast and visit Our Lady of the Rocks church, which is located on the rocks of a man-made island. We continue to Kotor, which was once an important ship building port. Enjoy lunch on your own and then in late afternoon we will arrive at our hotel.
After breakfast we take the old Austro-Hungarian Road to the town of Njegusi. This is the birthplace of Peter Petrovi Njegos II, who is one of the most important historical figures for Montenegrins. It is also the area that produces the best smoked prosciutto and cheese in the country. We will sample these delicacies in the oldest restaurant in Montenegro, which was founded in the 1860s. We continue our journey to Lovcen to visit the Njegos Mausoleum. The famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic designed the structure in the 1950s and this area also provides an excellent view of the sea and the entire country. Late in the afternoon, we will return to the hotel in Tivat.
We start the day with a short drive to Kotor, where we will embark on a cruise through Boka Kotorska Bay. We will stop in Herceg Novi, Zanjice Beach, and then disembark in Budva to enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.
We begin the day with a visit to the once royal capital of Montenegro, the town of Cetinje. We will tour the royal residence of Nikola, the last Montenegrin king and then visit the monastery. We will stop for lunch in a local restaurant before enjoying a wine tasting on our return to the hotel in Budva.
Today we leave the coastal area of Montenegro and travel to Durmitor National Park, part of the Dinaric Alps. We will spend the day enjoying nature and the beauty of the Black Lake area. At the end of the day, we will enjoy a traditional meal in one of the local restaurants.
After an early breakfast we drive to the northeastern part of Montenegro, to Tara River Canyon. Enjoy a rafting trip before we depart for the Lake Skadar area.
Today we enjoy a lunch cruise on Skadar Lake. In the afternoon we depart for Ulcinj, which is the southernmost town in Montenegro and borders Albania.

As we head to Podgorica, we will visit Ostrog Monastery, one of the biggest religious sites in Montenegro. In the evening, we have a farewell dinner in a local restaurant.

A short ride after breakfast takes us to La Palma del Condado. Here we will have a short walking tour through the town and visit Bodegas Rubio where we will taste some of the local products. Lunch will be at a local market and in the afternoon, we return to Seville. The evening is at your leisure.

After breakfast we depart for Carmona, a city known for traditional Andalusian cooking. Next, we do a pub crawl of various bars called “The Ruta de las Tapas' ' where we will drink other beverages from Wnise Los Hermanos, distilled and packaged in Carmona. We will arrive in Cordoba in the afternoon.

We do a city tour of Cordoba after breakfast and see the Alcazar de Los Reyes Cristianos (The Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs) with its beautiful gardens and fountains which dates to 1328. The fortress was one of the many primary residences of King Ferdinand II and Isabella. Our next sight is Torre de la Calahorra, a fortified gate in the historic city center. The tower hosts an interesting museum showcasing the life, culture, and philosophy of 10th century Cordoba. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

After breakfast we depart for Baeza, famous for having some of the best-preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain. Along with Ubeda, it was added to UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites in 2003. We continue to Ubeda to enjoy churches and palaces built by the leading families of the time. We will see the Palacio de Las Cadenas, the Basilica de Santa Maria de Los Reales Alcázares, and The Chapel del Salvador, a mausoleum of local viceroys. We enjoy lunch and then continue to Jaen where we will stay in a 16th century palace once in the Moorish Quarter.

We start the day with a city tour. Jaén is an administrative and industrial center of the province, housing tanneries, distilleries, cookie and textile factories. Along the tour we will sample some of the local products. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

We depart after breakfast and stop briefly at the Fortress de la Motta on our way to Alcala la Real. We arrive in Granada around lunch time where we will have a Paella cooking class (inside of a cave!). On the menu is seafood risotto, Spanish potato omelet, Andalusian salmorejo and Catalan cream. The evening features a Flamenco show at Templo del Flamenco with a drink.

The morning will be dedicated to the Alhambra Complex with the Nasrid Palaces and Gardens. This is sure to be one of the highlights of the tour. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

We depart Granada after breakfast with a stop enroute at Almunecar and visit the excavated ruins of the Phoenician fish salting factory, the Roman aqueduct and the Castle of San Miguel. There will be time for shopping and lunch on your own. We will continue to Malaga where we will have dinner in a local restaurant.

We will take a day trip to Rhonda, one of the most spectacularly located cities in Spain. The city has famously sheltered outlaws and rebels as well as actors, writers, and directors such as Ernest Hemingway, and Orson Welles. During our city tour we will visit La Ciudad, a classic Moorish “pueblo blanco'' or white city, and the Palacio Mondragon which is adorned with original Moorish mosaics. We stop at El Mercadillo, one of the oldest and most important buildings in Spain. Lunch will be in a local restaurant, and we return to Malaga late in the afternoon.

We depart early for Gibraltar. We tour the famous Rock of Gibraltar with a cable car and see the 200-year-old tunnels, ruins of Moorish castles, and over 100 caves, including St. Michael cave. We will see the native Macaws and cross the Windsor Suspension Bridge which crosses over a 164-foot-deep gorge. From the hilltop, we enjoy spectacular views. We arrive in Cadiz late afternoon.

Our morning consists of a tour of Cadiz with its interesting watch towers, ancient city walls, and unusual cathedral of various architectural styles. We also see the Roman theater. After the tour it is “tapas time” and we continue to Jerez De La Frontera, Spain’s cherry liquor capital. There we have a farewell dinner and return to Cadiz.

We begin the day with an informative visit to the Acropolis and Parthenon. After spending some time at the Acropolis Museum, we will explore Hadrian Street and the Plaka District for some local street food and shopping. The evening is free for you to explore on your own.
After breakfast we will visit the UNESCO site of Delphi, which according to myth is the “navel of the earth”. Here the Oracle of Delphi was purveyor of truth according to the god Apollo. Other sites we will visit are the Temple of Athena, the Temple of Apollo, the Treasury of Athenians, the ancient stadium and theater. Lunch on your own, and then an afternoon departure for Nafplio, a gem of Venetian and Byzantine culture. The town features picturesque narrow streets, fortifications, and a bounty of waterfront cafes. Dinner will be at a Greek tavern.
Among the morning highlights is a visit to the archaeological site and museum of Epidaurus. Its 2300-year-old theater, a masterpiece of Greek architecture, is known for its perfect acoustics and is still used today. In the afternoon we tour the ruins of Mycenae, which is linked to Homer’s epics The Iliad and The Odyssey. We visit the Tomb of Agamemnon and the famous Lion’s Gate.
After breakfast we depart for Corinth where we will visit the canal that divides the Peloponnesian Peninsula from the Greek mainland and we stop at the Museum of Ancient Corinth. We depart from Athens Airport for an afternoon flight to the island of Mykonos. Dinner in a local restaurant.
We will do a walking tour of the capital of the island, which is one of the most photogenic spots in Greece. We stop at Ornos Beach and then on to an afternoon cooking lesson. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
In the morning, we travel on a high-speed ferry to Santorini, which is the southernmost Cycladic Island. Once believed to have been the legendary “Lost City of Atlantis”, Santorini attracts visitors from all over the world. We enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery and then there is free time to explore.
Today we will tour Santorini’s archaeological site of Akrotiri, a Bronze Age Minoan location that was abandoned in the 17th century B.C. following a volcanic eruption. Late afternoon we head to the old town of Oia, known for its spectacular sunsets, whitewashed buildings, and stunning ocean views.
We depart by ferry for the island of Crete and the city of Heraklion. We do a walking tour of the city and then visit the ruins of the Palace of Knossos, a one-time political center of the Minoan civilization and legendary home of King Minos and the Minotaur. After lunch we visit one of the greatest museums in all of Greece, the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts from over 5500 years of Cretan history. The remainder of the day is on your own.
Today we take a cruise through the Bay of Elounda to Spinalonga, a former Venetian Island fortress which was later occupied by the Ottomans. From here we travel to the colorful harbor town of Agios Nikolaos with its galleries, shops and cafes. Here you will find the small Lake Voulismeni where legend has it that the goddess Athena bathed. Next, we visit a Cretan olive oil farm to learn about the history of olive oil production on the island. Dinner on your own.
The morning will be free for leisure. Late in the afternoon we will take a short flight back to Athens for a farewell dinner.

We will begin the day with a walking tour of Munich (The Frauenkirche Cathedral, farmer’s market, Glockenspiel, Opera House, Odeon Square, and Hofbräuhaus). After we enjoy lunch in one of the local beer halls, you will have the rest of the day free for visiting museums and the Munich Christmas Market.
After breakfast we depart for Innsbruck. Along the way we will stop in Kufstein to enjoy a small Christmas Market and have lunch on your own. We arrive in Innsbruck in the afternoon and our hotel is in a walking district of the old town. Here you can immerse yourself in the very relaxing atmosphere of Tyrol, the capital of Austria. Dinner is at a local restaurant.
Today we explore the highlights of the town, including the Golden Roof, Hofburg Palace, and The Court Church. After our morning tour we will take a cable car up to the top of Nordkette Mountain which offers spectacular views of the Austrian Alps and the town itself. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the Christmas markets.
This morning, we visit the Swarovski World Museum in Wattens, Germany. Next, we leave for Rattenberg, the smallest town in Austria, where we have time for lunch and Christmas market shopping. We drive on to Salzburg in the afternoon to dine in a local restaurant and attend a Mozart concert.
We begin the day with a walking tour of the town and a visit to Hohensalzburg Fortress. We will have lunch in a local restaurant and then, the remainder of the day will be for your leisure to enjoy several Christmas Markets in the old town.
We depart early for the charming village of Hallstadt. After our morning visit, we depart for Katschberg to enjoy lunch and check into our family-run hotel. The afternoon will be spent enjoying the “real” Christmas atmosphere with a horse and sleigh ride to a mountain hut for our dinner.
We depart in the morning for a stop in Parndorf, a huge shopping outlet village for some shopping. We arrive in Vienna in the late afternoon.
Today we have a walking tour of the town with an intermission for Sacher cake and coffee. The remainder of the day is free for visiting Christmas markets.
We visit Schönbrunn Palace, the Habsburg’s summer home, in the morning. We will visit the Christmas markets and then a cooking class later in the day. The evening is free to enjoy the Christmas markets in town.
We take a short ride to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia in the morning where a local guide will show us the old town. Lunch is on your own. In the afternoon, we depart for Budapest where we will enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.
After breakfast we explore both the Buda and Pest parts of the town with a local guide. We will visit the Hungarian Parliament, Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, the Chain Bridge, Hero’s Square, and the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon we recommend a visit to the Budapest bath. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the markets. We will have a farewell dinner cruise along the Danube.
